Location. Outside of building has classic Montreal charm. Our room was clean and well appointed and comfortable.
The room was smaller than expected. Bed was up against a wall. And no milk or creamer to be found in fridge or even milk powder packets. We looked forward to a coffee in the morning but to no avail. After check out we went and bought a coffee.

Very responsive hosts did their best to quickly fix some fairly major issues that arose
The fridge in our room was very loud, so much that ear plugs were provided in advance. The aircon in the whole building was broken for over half our stay. The WiFi also broke, meaning I had to book another hotel due to an online job interview scheduled during our stay.
