Updated, calm, and clean retreat close to all the action. Easy to communicate with the owners, who were very responsive. They arranged for our airport transfer with a car seat, which was great. The apartment was modern and had enough space for our family. The building had an elevator which made it easier to get up and down with a stroller. The building has two steps between the outer and inner doors for those of you traveling with children. I also liked that each of the bedrooms could be made pitch black which was great for naptime. The owners also didn’t give onerous (or any) checkout instructions, which I very much appreciated as I don’t like having to strip the bed, start the washing machine etc. In my view that should be the owners and cleaners’ jobs. Overall, I highly recommend this property and would not hesitate to stay here again.

The only critical thing I have is that the A/C in the back right bedroom was noisy and it woke me and my son up, so we switched rooms once family members left the trip.

La propreté, l’ameublement, l’emplacement.

Immeuble mal entretenu.

The inside is a beautifully renovated 3 bedroom with two baths. It is spacious with a lot of attention to detail in the design. It’s a good location - close to everything in the Plaka district. There are some nice restaurants on the street, including a rooftop restaurant about a block down.

The street is very run-down in areas - not dangerous but dilapidated. I was also shocked at how old and ragged the building itself is. Given the high price of the rental, I thought we were at the wrong address. Once we got over the exterior, it was fine. The check-in process was also broken. Instead of giving me the code to open the key box, I was told to message when we got there, which we did. We got an initial response, and then waited in the sweltering heat with my elderly parents for 40 minutes before we were eventually let in.
