This apartment has a great location, only a few minutes walk from Marienplatz. This was our primary reason for choosing this property. In general the property was comfortable with a sitting area and kitchen. If you are arriving by car, you can arrange for parking in the underground parking of the building.

My main issue was with the sleeping situation. My party consisted of three adult men each requiring a separate bed. I was leery of booking a one bedroom apartment and therefore specifically asked if the appartment could accommodate my party. I was told yes and on Booking the description indicates the appartment offers five beds. This is misleading at best. When we arrived, we found one double bed in the bedroom and a foldout sectional couch that I assume accounts for the other three "beds". The three sections were but no means big enough to accommodate grown men. We wound up with two of us taking the double bed and one the couch - not what I thought I was getting. Another issue is the street noise. I know exceptions have to be made for Oktoberfest with people carousing until the wee hours but you're also subjected to sirens, street sweepers, and other street noise that will likely prevent a restful sleep.

The location!! It is located within very short walking distance to many historical and must-see places as well as transport. Awesome coffee machine! Freshly ground beans coffee each morning is a great way to start the day. The apartment is beautifully sunny and spacious with modern touches and artworks. It feels very homely and comfortable. The Dyson fan helped on warm nights. Being the residence of the hosts as well, the kitchen was well stocked with food they offered for us to use as well. And we could use towels as needed. Plenty of wardrobe space and in apartment washing machine.

After our first request to stay here, the price was increased by 1000 euros without any explanation or comment. Even after I wrote to the host to enquire with them. This was a huge shock and meant we had high expectations of a fully comfortable experience to ensure the price was worthwhile. This expectation wasn’t met. The sofa bed wasn’t comfortable for our children, who can usually sleep anywhere. And there were no alternative pillow options other than super large and super soft. It made sleeping difficult as we’re not used to a very soft pillows. The location also means it’s very noisy which is just part of living centrally. There was no air conditioning as advertised and is common in Europe, so we had to sleep with windows open. Often woken by vehicle horns and party people. A fold out clothes line to have in the apartment would have helped.

בעל הבית היה זמין מאוד והסביר בצורה מפורטת איך להיכנס ואיך אפשר להשתמש בחניה, וגם בהמשך היה זמין לשאלותינו באדיבות רבה. הדירה מעוצבת בצורה יפה ונעימה והיתה טובה לצרכינו. (מתאימה באופן חלקי לשומרי שבת. מפתחות רגילים, בתוך הדירה אין חיישני תאורה, אבל בחדר המדרגות יש. וכמובן שיש מקרר רגיל) המיקום מעולה, במרחק הליכה ממקומות תיירות רבים שבהם בחרנו לבקר, ובמרחק הליכה יש תחבורה ציבורית נוחה (בתוך העיר ולשדה התעופה). המטבח היה מאובזר ונוח לשימוש, פינת האוכל נעימה, הפסנתר הוא שדרוג מקסים. היינו במקום בימים חמים, והיה מאוורר אחד בסלון.

המחיר יחסית גבוה. היינו משפחה של הורים ושני ילדים, ויש חדר שינה אחד בדירה, כלומר הילדים ישנים על ספה נפתחת בסלון (זה מה שציפינו לקבל, אך פחות נוח מבחינת אפשרויות השינה.) במקלחת כיוון הזרם היה פחות נוח לשימוש, וגם מנגנון הורדת המים בשירותים דורש תיקון. רועש יחסית. בגלל מזג האויר, השארנו חלונות פתוחים, וחלונות הדירה פונים לרחוב סמוך לאזור בילויים.

FANTASTIC LOCATION! Easy access to Old Town sites, museums and transportation. This is the absolute best location where a turn of the key transports you from being in the action to an oasis of calm and comfort.
