Hotel Hafnerwirt

Great location outside Salzburg, with easy access to the Saltmine, Eagles Nest & the city via public transport. Lovely reception staff, great team at breakfast. Good continental breakfast with plenty of choice. Rooms are rustic & simply furnished with good storage. We had quad room, shower room was compact, shower good. Parking available outside the hotel, easy walk to the bus to Salzburg - route 170 is the quickest into town. Great gelateria over the bridge in the old town. Food recommendations: Their restaurant - Mexican. Staff lovely & friendly 😊 Gasthaus across the road - traditional Austrian menu Ta Leme Greek restaurant in old town Stadtkrug Bar & restaurant in old town

It would have been lovely to have had a bar area within the hotel; our stay wasn't adversely affected by this. Additional plugs/ extension sockets in the bedroom would have been a helpful addition.

Posizione, servizi ed accoglienza molto buoni. Colazione con giusta varietà di dolce e salato.

Da migliorare gli arredi delle camere (soprattutto in considerazione del prezzo) e set di prodotti cortesia ( presente solo dispenser di sapone).

Good Brekky and room was fine for money.

Nothing really. Met expectations for a cheaper option

Near railway station

Rooms were small, basic facilities
