A short distance from fishing, hiking and biking trails, and more, this family-friendly cottage lets you experience it all. Jump into your car and make short work of the 9-minute drive to York Minster or the 10-minute drive to York City Walls (and enjoy the property's convenient onsite parking in the meantime).
The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator and a dishwasher, as well as an electric kettle, cookware, and a toaster. And you can even travel light because you'll have a washing machine. Other amenities at this 7-bedroom, 2-bathroom rental include heating and wardrobe or closet.

We had a pleasant stay overall. The house was clean and tidy, with a good heating system that kept the place comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with enough utensils for cooking, which was very convenient. We also really enjoyed the Jacuzzi during our stay.
The only feedback we would mention is that it was sometimes difficult to reach the host when needed. Additionally, the shower in the bathroom did not have enough water pressure.
Aside from these points, we had a nice stay and appreciated the comfort of the house.

Lovely old property with lots of character. Comfortable beds and nicely furnished. As a group of friends we enjoyed our stay. 20 min taxi or bus ride into York. Very few negatives. Bit of road noise as it's a busy road, a few hair dryers would have been nice, description said it was near a shop, but not the case.
