The location was great! Close to city center of Franschoek…about 5-10 minutes to everything. It’s was very quiet. It felt safe also (there are two neighbors, who by the way are quiet as well). Nice walks as well. Exceptional views from patio especially early morning and evening. Very Easy to communicate with host.
Not a big issue, but takes a while for toilet to refill.

We loved the peaceful farm setting and felt that the cottage offered excellent value for money. The complimentary firewood was a lovely special touch, and the heater made the cottage warm and cosy during the stormy weather.
Although the weather prevented us from enjoying all the facilities, we still had a wonderful, relaxing stay. We would definitely love to come back!
The only small issue was that the shower is a little narrow, which my husband found slightly uncomfortable. However, the hot water was excellent — it became hot within seconds, which was a real bonus, especially during the cold and stormy weather.

Its a lovely cottage surrounded by trees. Its on a farm. Filled with birds and farm animals. Close to Franschhoek too.

The property is very peaceful and there is a lovely view from the patio. The facilities are very basic but comfortable.
