The setting was lovely. Downstairs at the property was comfortable and clean. The bed was comfortable. The owner was charming.
Upstairs at the property was very challenging. The beams were very low and a problem for people with mobility issues. This should be mentioned in the description of the property. Unfortunately there was no access to the Charente although photographs of the property suggested there was. There were no instructions in English anywhere in the property for instructions meaning that we were unable to access the hob. Far too many fliers and no fly spray. directions could have been clearer.
