The two bedroom apartment was huge, looked amazing, and is decorated well. For three adults there was more than enough space. We were shocked at how nice it looked and how spacious it was. Location was a 10-15 min walk to the city centre and was above a restaurant (we even got 10% discount on dinner there one night). There are also a few shops, cafes and restaurants in the Sablon area. It was a little tricky to find the apartment, but the host provided a good description including pictures, which was appreciated. We didn't need to store our luggage upon check-in or check-out, but there is a space for that too. I was freezing one of the nights in the apartment, and the host got back to me fairly quickly, so good communication from the host. Taxis can pick you up right outside the apartment which is great.

As I mentioned, the apartment was quite cold in the evenings and we were told that the heating doesn't go on in Sep. I run very cold, so just be aware of that. If you run hot, both bedrooms have an electric fan. The rainfall shower looks beautiful, but unfortunately didn't work, but luckily the handheld shower hose did. We were three girls in a two-bedroom apartment getting ready every day, and there was only one bathroom mirror that you couldn't stand up close to. I really wish the huge gorgeous bedrooms had a mirror too. I am a big believer that every bedroom needs a mirror and a bin, and maybe a hook on the bathroom door. It was kinda noisy outside, since the apartment is located above a restaurant. Fortunately, the restaurant closes at 10pm so you're not kept awake late at night, but we were woken up very early by nearby construction. It just seems like a creaky and noisy building, but you get that with a good location I suppose.

An beautiful, cosy appartement with character and history, an antiquarian's dream. Still very comfortable with a modern bathroom and amenities. Excellent location. I will come back if I can.

No serious drawbacks. Maybe the bed was a bit on the hard side?

Central to seeing sights restaurants Hosts were helpful

The access to apartment was though kitchen storage area and stairs were not that great. The apartment itself was clean but basic no comfortable seating . T.v was in one of the bedrooms . So kitchen area could have had smaller dining table and have small sofa . We’re only there for a few nights but if there for longer it would not off met our needs. There were no instructions re what to do if there was a fire in the building being above a cafe . .
