All meals had at Cornish Arms were excellent, staff very courteous and helpful. Hut facilities were excellent, especially Jill's toilettries. Location was excellent.

Having to get out of bed to turn on/off hut's lights, recommend moving switch closer to bed. Remove over sink shelf in bathroom - impossible to have a wash in sink. Replace one of the bedside shelves with a bedside cabinet giving more storage.

The property felt perfectly suited for one person anything more and it would start to feel quite small, especially for taller guests. Despite its compact size, it was genuinely lovely and beautifully quiet in the evenings, which made it a really peaceful place to unwind.

The downside for us was that some of the restaurant staff came across as a little unwelcoming, which took away from the otherwise lovely atmosphere. In contrast, the team running the outdoor pizza oven were incredibly friendly and polite. I would also highly recommend being aware that breakfast isn’t served onsite you’ll need to travel to another Rick Stein location, which may not suit everyone. The bathroom could benefit from some attention too, as the shower leaks water across the floor and the sink is extremely small.
