Our stay at the Old Forest Resort was lovely! We enjoyed the suite very much. Things were certainly clean and the bed was very comfortable. Nanoose Bay is beautiful and we were close to many interesting places. We also enjoyed access to the hot tub and streaming services on the TV. Underground parking was convenient. We look forward to our next visit!
One small recommendation is to have a couple of small plates, forks, and knives available for use.

Sehr gepflegte Anlage direkt am Meer mit gemeinschaftlichen Außenanlagen zum Entspannen, Essen, Grillen und einem wirklich liebevoll gestalteten Appartement. Für uns war alles perfekt und wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen.

The room was clean, well appointed and not far from the elevator. Underground parking was first come first served and there was lots parking. I liked that this room is pet free. The owner has pet allergies and so do we.
Booking.com said the cleaning fee would be waived and it wasn't. So one night at $157 plus tax turned into $287 and for that price I would have much rather stayed at the posh hotel in Nanaimo. The $99 cleaning fee for one night sleep is ridiculous when you aren't there except to sleep. (Didn't leave garbage or use towels.) Then there was the missing/wrong access code leaving me panicking outside until I figured out how to contact the owner.

no breakfast included but you could make your own in your suite if you wished but limited. Only microwave
The room didn’t have much of a view. On the noisy side, not much soundproofing.
