Great place to stay. Fully equipped, really nicely appointed and a perfect location in the heart of Bayeux with easy parking close by.

Posizione centralissima.

While there was a lot to like about La Belle Epoque, the location is probably the standout feature. You are literal steps away from everything in City Centre. The apartment itself is impeccably decorated and quite comfortable. The kitchen offers everything you would need for cooking. My stay lasted an entire month and it was VERY livable. I had everything I needed and felt like a home away from home.
There were NO downsides that are specific to La Belle Epoque. Taking glass bottles separately to the trash by the Post Office was a bit of a hassle, but that is quite common for Bayeux and other French cities. Otherwise, all trash and recycling were on- site. VERY convenient. During the month, we were hit with the hottest recorded day for Bayeux. However, Arnaud has installed thick curtains and supplied a fan to alleviate the heat. This was a real life-saver. It shows the careful thought Arnaud has put into making sure his guests are comfortable.

Can't beat the location! Huge room with well equipped kitchen. Clever little washing machine. Good water pressure although the shower temp varied quite a bit during use.
Extremely small bathroom. I'm 6'2" 220# and could not stand up straight in the shower or turn around. I wish 2% of the area of the large living/dining room area had been added to the bathroom. Towels were becoming worn and thin. Pillows were thin.
