Welcome to Captain's Retreat! This coastal beach house is only a short walk to 30A's newest beach access, and just steps from the community pool! Don't feel like walking?? Enjoy a quick 3 minute golf cart (LSV) ride to Dune Allen Beach Access in your free 6 seater golf cart! This beach access boasts a large amount of beach front space, parking, bike racks, bathrooms, and a crosswalk right from the neighborhood to the beach!
Captains Retreat is a 3 story coastal retreat that is sure to have everything your family is looking for in their vacation home! From the open-concept living, kitchen, and dining area, to the homes 4 bedrooms, each with its own private bathrooms, you will love the space your family has to spread out in. The family room has comfortable seating for everyone in your group, and the kitchen table boasts seating for 8, with an additional 3 seats at the kitchen island. The homes kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need during your stay, as well as beautifully appointed with stainless steel appliances, and granite countertops.
Moving up to the homes second level, you will first notice a set of twin/full bunkbeds conveniently located in a sleeping nook at the top of the stairs. Additionally the homes second floor has a King Master suite, and guest King suite! Both suites have private bathrooms and access to a private balconies. One balcony overlooks the community pool, while the second overlooks a peaceful green space behind the home. Moving up to the third floor of the home you will find the home's second master king suite, hallway bunks, and a fourth bedroom complete with a queen bed and private bathroom.
All four of the home's bedrooms boast private balconies, and a private full bathroom making this home the entertainer's dream! Everyone can have their own personal space, making it the ideal house for multiple families vacationing together!

Always a great time! We stay here every year for Mother’s Day weekend and it doesn’t disappoint! The home is beautiful and very clean. Located directly across the pool. They provide a golf cart for easy trips to the beach! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

We were pleased overall. The house is very nice. All of the rooms have a bathroom and balcony. The area is top notch.

Overall the trip was okay. It is a good place to stay if they make a few improvements to the property. Given below are few issues we had with the properties:
• Microwave door opening switch is bad and loose in tension. We had to struggle every time to make it work to open the door
• Bunk beds on both 2nd and 3 rd floors don't have either a mini split or fan or central AC where you can let kids sleep there especially during hot summer and basically these 4 beds are useless and you can't count.
• The 2nd floor bedroom on the right side once you climb up stairs /bathroom shower has bad glass door railing coming out of the channel when you slide and dangle during open and close.
• The 2nd floor bedroom on the right side once you climb up stairs /bathroom shower faucet is loose and disconnected from the wall and exposes the inner red water pipe and dangles while turning on and off which makes it unsafe. This can easily cut off and flood the place?
• If we have 3 vehicles to park or looking for centralized AC then this might not be ideal place to stay.
• Front door has no blinds especially for night time privacy.
• Kitchen utensils were not of good quality. Knives were quite blunt.
As mentioned above, this is a good place from a location stand point. However, making a few improvements will immensely help.
