Take a 2 minute Stroll from this spacious holiday home to beautiful Tapeka Beach for swimming, kayaking (kayaks provided), sun or a spot of fishing.
Enjoy the sea views from the large decks, the living areas or from the master bedroom.
Bush and beach walks are there for those who feel energetic. Walk the bush walks at night and you might see the kiwi (please observe only and respect them). Kiwi calls are heard most nights.
Cafe and restaurants are close by in beautiful historic Russell or via a quick ferry ride to Paiha.
This is your gateway to the magnificent Bay of Islands or to venturing further afield to tourist attractions in Northland.
This house has close access to two beaches. The first is a safe sandy beach with pontoon (in summer). The second is a rocky beach with rock pools. Good for snorkeling and exploring.
Take Bob’s walk through the bush or walk up the hill toward Russell. Walk to the end of Titore Way and you will be able to walk through the bush to Russell. A must for us and our grandchildren. We make this a daily event. The reward is coffee or icecreams on the waterfront in Russell. Or to get your daily exercise walk up the hill to Tapeka Pt, the old Maori Pa site, and enjoy the panoramic views of the bay.
These are just some of the options to fill your days. You will find you do not have enough hours in the day to do everything.

•No parties and no additional guests staying beyond those booked.
•No smoking inside.
•No tents or additional overnight guests without prior permission
Extras: Linen (preferred to bring your own. Optional linen may be available for overseas guests, NZ$30.00 per person); NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: Clean the house and do the dishes before you leave;

We had such a lovely weekend at the bach, it was prefect for our families and little ones. It had everything we needed and more! It was very comfortable, check in was easy and the host lovely to communicate with. We were celebrating a 40th birthday and enjoyed a beautiful lunch at the duke and pizza at Hones garden . A short drive to town and easy walk to the beach. We also saw kiwi on Jim’s walkway. We couldn’t fault our weekend, thanks for the stay

Our group of 9 adults stayed at this well equipped comfortable home for 10 nights. Every room had a double bed that perfectly suited our needs. The huge deck with drop down canvas kept us warm & sheltered outside during wet weather. The deck also provided an awesome space to share meals and enjoy the beautiful views of Tapeka point. Our hosts were nothing short of brilliant! Ahead of the cyclone they advised us that a generator was available in the event of a power cut - just awesome communications throughout. Overall we rate our stay 10/10, and highly recommend this property and its hosts. We had the best holiday with our kids thanks to this awesome home!

Very Spacious and beautiful house, easily accommodates 15 to 18 people. With beach views from lounge, kitchen and outdoor lounge.Beautiful Beach at walkable distance.Fully equipped kitchen. It would be lovely to have linen provided, it was really too much Linen to carry.
