The house was comfortable and well placed to access many of the places to visit such as Fishbourne Palace. The house is on three floors and is excellent for a couple or up to a family of six. There are two parking places which are easily accessed and the property is in a quiet area away from the main road. There is a secluded outside area which is pleasant to sit in at the end of a day or if you prefer to sit indoors there is a comfortable lounge. I recommend this property and would certainly stay there again.

Pears Grove provided great accommodation for four adults. All the bedrooms, bathroom and lounge were spacious though the dining area was a little tight but it was nice to sit out on the patio. The kitchen was generally well equipped though some oven gloves and a cheese grater would have been useful additions. All the booking and instructions were straightforward. It was a great location for our walks (and morning runs) along the network of public and costal footpaths with Emsworth, Thorney, Chidham and Bosham all within walking distance. We loved getting the ferry across from Bosham to West Itchenor and then we could walk on to West Wittering and around East Head. Peaceful and beautiful scenery at both lo and high tide.

We enjoyed a week at Pearce cottage. It was pristinely cleaned, easy walk to shops and pub, although close to the main road, it was wonderfully quiet. You can walk away from the main road to Emsworth or to Bosham. There was a lot of space and comfy furniture and although it rained a lot, the little courtyard was very inviting. Our first choice if we returned!
