Another fantastic stay! We made the mistake of trying a different cabin closer to the event we were going to. The other host ghosted us and Kirk was fantastic in working with us while we worked through support. I can not say enough to recommend this cabin! We trailer our mini motos down here to enjoy the Smokies, and one of the biggest concerns for us is what to do with the trailer and the safety of our stuff. This cabin is ACTUALLY private in the woods. We come with our little 5x8 trailer and our Bronco and it works great.Cabin has all the amenities you could want and the washer and dryer are definitely nice. Being so close to Townsend it’s a short run for most things and an easy run to Maryville if you need to. 5 minutes to the Smoky Mt Park entrance and 15 minutes to the Foothills Parkway and tail of the dragon. If you are looking for home base for motorcycle riding, this is definitely the place you should stay.

The perfect Smokies cottage would be the best description. Tucked in beautiful woods yet with all the conveniences. Pristine as far as clean and everything available and in order. Thoughtfully designed with lots of space and full bathrooms on both floors. Wrap-around deck is a great spot for morning coffee and to relax and visit after a day of hiking in the Smokies. The list of positives for the kitchen, bathrooms, laundry and living spaces is extensive. The owner is very responsive, friendly and knowledgeable of all the workings and surrounding grounds. We'll rent again for a third time when we're back in the area again.

We had a wonderful time at thos cabin. This was a vacation for me and my mom. Cabin was easy to get to. Very clean and warm welcoming. Hoyse set up perfectly and everything you would need. Very clean and bed so comfy you fall asleep quickly. Great sitting on deck in rocking chairs. Definitly will rent again. This by far best cabin i have been in in the area.

We absolutely loved our weekend stay at Bear Acres Getaway! The location is just minutes from some of the best restaurants, hikes, and excursions in the area—we spent a beautiful morning in Cades Cove. There’s still so much we didn’t get to do, like tubing, mountain biking, and horseback riding, so we’re already looking forward to coming back in the summer.Kirk was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which made everything even more enjoyable. The house was very well stocked, with plenty of linens and towels for our group of six. We were especially impressed that there was more than enough hot water for everyone—something that can be hard to find with a larger group!The kitchen was well equipped, and the living space felt cozy and perfect for spending quality time together. We also loved the wraparound upper deck—it was the ideal spot for relaxing and hanging out in the evenings.
