Villa Dos Santos - Country House, is a country house, located in Rio Caldo, Gerês, next to the Sanctuary of S. Bento da Porta Aberta. The house accommodates up to 7 people, and has 3 bedrooms, one with a private bathroom. The house has 3 bathrooms, one of which serves the living area. It also has a large living and dining room, and also a fully equipped kitchen. All rooms have windows and balconies, with views of the Gerês mountains and river. The outdoor space consists of a century-old threshing floor and tank, where you can enjoy the crystal-clear running water. You can also dine outside, and use the table, chairs and grill. Quiet location and close to river beaches and lagoons.

Just stayed here one night, but a very nice place. The road from the main road to the place is tiny, so that takes some doing. It is also easy to miss. It is RIGHT after the cafe.
Lovely grounds and house. The loft room has low ceilings so be careful when getting out of one of the beds. Overall, a very nice place.

We really enjoyed our stay the property was very beautiful. Great views and great indoor space as well as outside. All the necessities you could possibly need for a comfortable stay! She even provided complimentary shampoo until your able to purchase some. The only thing I wished was mentioned is the stairs for the top floor are steep and might not be good for older couples but we made it work. Overall very satisfied and if we go to Rio Caldo again we will stay again. Thank you!
