The View is a spacious town house with panoramic coastal views of Brixham and the whole of Torbay. The property boasts sea views from 3 of the bedrooms as well as the terrace which is a fantastic viewing spot from which to watch all manner of boats and trawlers head out to see. At certain times of the year its possible to see dolphins in the bay and the resident seals in the harbour are easy to spot year round.
The house underwent a refurbishment in 2021 and provides a very comfortable living space with widescreen TV's, comfortable sofas and a brand new kitchen with all amenities. All bedrooms are stylishly decked out.
Brixham has the ability to cater for everyone's interests and hobbies. There are stunning beaches and coves, great restaurants, fantastic coastal walks and fresh sea food vendors minutes from the house. Come and see the English Riviera.

Well equipped house, clean rooms, lovely views. Ideal for a large family get together. Steps to the kitchen are steep as described in the listing but we all managed perfectly well. Host comms very good. Will definitely return

The house was perfect for our requirements. The view was outstanding from the 3 main bedrooms and the living area. The host was very quick at responding to my questions during the stay in regards to recycling and heating. Offered recommendations of places to eat and activities to do in the area. Highly recommend the property and the host.

The property benefits from a fantastic view across Brixham harbour which bustles all day. I personally loved watching the comings and goings from the large upper deck with a coffee or glass of wine.As has been said on many other reviews, the property is laid out over 4 floors and the stairs are quite steep. So if you have mobility problems it may be challenging to reach upper bedrooms. There are however twin and double bedrooms on the ground floor which should help mitigate the impact of too much climbing. For us it was fine and did not pose too much of a problem. The house is well equipped with all the utensils and kitchen paraphernalia needed for a weeks stay in Brixham. The location is about 750m from the main town but requires you to climb or descend about 150m, not an issue for us but some may find it hard work, particularly after a good dinner or glass of two of the local brews. So much to do in Brixham itself and with the sun out it really is a haven. Thanks to our host Paul who looked after us. Would definitely visit again.
