THE SPACE
This listing is for the entire top floor of our iconic Red Barn. We, your hosts, live in the separate ground-floor unit, so while you will have caring hosts nearby, your floor is completely your own. You have a private entrance, your own expansive deck, and exclusive access to all amenities listed below.
Your Private Deck: A spacious outdoor living area with lounge furniture, a grill, and a sparkling hot tub reserved exclusively for top-floor guests. Morning coffee with mountain views. Evening soaks under the stars.
The Fire Pit: A private wood-burning fire pit with wood provided for slow Appalachian evenings. Every season has a reason to use it.
Dual King Suites: Two bedrooms, each with a King-sized memory foam mattress for resort-quality sleep.
Chef's Kitchen and Amenities: Fully equipped kitchen, drip coffee maker, fast Wi-Fi, streaming apps, and an in-unit washer and dryer.
THE LOCATION
10 mins to Fairview: Daymoon Coffee, Rooted in Wine, Turgua and Whistlehop Breweries, and Hickory Nut Gap Farm are minutes away.
20 to 25 minutes to Asheville: Biltmore Estate, Downtown Asheville, River Arts District, and Black Mountain.

5 Stars! 10/10 would recommend staying here! I’m used to having to bring extra toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, etc but we didn’t even need to use those here! Accommodations were like staying at a 5 star hotel. Plenty of towels, fresh flowers put out for us and it smelled really good! Comfy furniture, amazing views and we loved the hot tub and grill! Thank you for being such good hosts! Easy 20-30 min drive to Asheville as well. Close to everything

We didn't want to leave! The views and serenity were our primary reasons for choosing this property. I would love just to sit on the deck every day and soak in nature and view the beautiful surroundings. The hot tub and fire pit are nice features. I absolutely loved the comfortable bed in the primary bedroom and the shower too! The kitchen, dining area and living room are nicely arranged. The kitchen is well equipped. I could sit on the couch for days and watch the sky and trees. I loved that viewpoint! The Internet connection was reliable and fast! The water is very good and refreshing as spring water. I used the washer and dryer and they're first rate! The Red Barn had much more than we expected and we definitely would love to stay there again, only longer!

Overall, we had a comfortable stay in a clean, modern, and family-friendly property with plenty of thoughtful touches, including games, toys, and welcome snacks. The location felt remote enough to provide an escape, and we particularly enjoyed the cute, secluded fire pit area.We did encounter a handful of maintenance and housekeeping issues during our visit, which we’ve shared privately with the owner, but none significantly disrupted our stay. They appear to be straightforward fixes, and we’re hopeful they will be addressed for future guests. Given the premium price point, we had expected a little more attention to these details, but we still appreciated our time here.
