Quirky, unique very pleasing. Ideal venue for a quiet relaxing holiday. Owners were in residence but were very helpful, hospitable yet unimposing.

We really enjoyed our stay at La Cigale. Marion and her husband were present when we were there and they were the perfect hosts, assisting and advising where needed. The apartment was fine, as others have said. Despite it being very hot in the area, it stays cool.
Rosieres itself is quite small, with a couple of places to eat. This area of Ardeche has plenty of places to visit, with many restaurants around.
All in, it was a nice, quiet relaxing break and we would certainly visit and stay in the apartment again.

We had a great vacation in beautiful 'La Cigale' which has a tasteful decor, a wonderful terrace, nice and calm surroundings, and with the fantastic pool close by.
Ardeche was new to us, but we come back next year to this fantastic area!
Of restaurants nearby we can especially recommend 'La Maison de Nany' in Joyeuse, and 'Auberge de La Tour de Brisson', just outside Sanilhac. We got some great food both places :-)
