This property was truly perfect! Very cozy, clean, and safe! Felt like a little cabin hideaway, but was still close to downtown! Would stay here again!!

Absolutely delightful! So happy we stayed here. The hosts thought of everything, and we felt very welcome! The property was close to town but felt private and relaxing. All of the furnishings and appliances were high quality (My wife wants to mention that the towels are extra fluffy). You have to climb stairs to access the property, but it was not an issue for us or our small dog. We will definitely be back!

I have to say the Sparrow's nest is among the nicest properties I have stayed in. It is the spacious top floor of a new, two-story structure that has some garage/workspace below for the owner. I have stayed in a similar set-up in Vermont and it works well. The property is located in a low-key subdivision near Big Chimney and is just about 10 min north of downtown Charleston. Some steep roads lead you to the property which is at the end of a of cul de sac nestled among the trees.The place was *very* clean, modern appliances, everything in working order, thoughtful touches here and there, and a welcoming host...all to make for a very pleasant stay. I would definitely stay here again given the opportunity.

It was okay, nice home but drive into home, heating and privacy were issues. Did enjoyed the many amenities.
