Like many hosts around the world, I’ve gained a wide range of experiences over the years—both as a host and as a guest in many countries. These rules were developed based on specific situations, guest feedback, host communities, and discussions on the platform.
The goal is to foster clarity, fairness, and consideration—for you, for me, and for the neighborhood. Some of these rules may seem obvious—but unfortunately, experience shows that they aren’t for all travelers.
These house rules are not meant to restrict or lecture anyone, but rather to create a respectful shared framework—regardless of background or habits. They help ensure that the guests who come after you will also find a clean, quiet, and ready-to-use apartment—just as you would like it to be now.

1. 🔇 Quiet & Consideration – at all times
The house rules are based, among other things, on the zero-tolerance policies of leading booking platforms—particularly regarding parties, noise disturbances, and unauthorized guests. Penalties are imposed only on a proportionate basis—a fee may be charged only in the event of a documented violation of the rules.
Consideration is not limited to specific times but applies throughout the day.
• Music at a reasonable volume is acceptable—but no pre-parties, no party-level noise, and no drinking in the stairwell or entryway.
• Please also avoid loud conversations, slamming doors, or confrontational behavior.
• Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.—including weekends and holidays.
During these hours, please be especially considerate: loud group conversations, boisterous laughter, the scraping of chairs, or alcohol-induced commotion—especially after a night out together or “pre-drinking”—can be perceived as a disturbance of the peace.
Imagine if there were a scene just like this at your home every weekend after midnight—eventually, even the best neighborhood would suffer as a result.
