You'll be situated on Diamond Beach at the West end of Galveston Seawall. Stroll to the Seahorse Grill or Tipsy Turtle café, and the convenience/liquor store across the street. Drive 3 miles West to Galveston Island State Park for lovely views and a nice afternoon of nature, beach combing, shell collecting and more, or drive 6 miles east to the Renowned Historic Strand District, where you can peruse the shops to find souvenirs and gifts for loved ones, There is plenty of antiquing available here as well as museums and historical tours. Slow down the pace and explore the East End Lagoon Nature Preserve, do some beachcombing, and search for sea glass, and be sure to visit the iconic 1894 Bishop's Palace for a tour.
This cozy home has all the essentials with a kitchen, complete with oven/stove, fridge, microwave, Granite counters, breakfast bar and coffeemaker - everything you need for making and enjoying meals in. You'll also enjoy the Livingroom which features a sleeper sofa, comfy barrel chair and flat screen HD TV for those nights when you want to relax and unwind after a busy day exploring the coast.
The bedroom features Queen Bed, HD TV and just outside built into the hall alcove you'll find a set of twin bunks perfect for your junior sized guests, allowing the unit to sleep up to six people. The private balcony is a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the afternoon sun as you read a book and hear the sound of the waves coming from the beach. You can also enjoy the view of the kids at the pool while you get rejuvenation and vitamin D from the Sun.

The patio railing was not cleaned. No welcome basket, and coffee pot was not the pods type. Several things needed fixing (stove hood light, dishwasher not attached and missing window blind), but did not stop us from have a good time. Location was great. Easy access to the beach and pool. I would go again.

The property was exactly what I expected. The check in was the only issue, it was almost an hour after check in time before they were through cleaning the room for us to go in.

We have stayed at Seascape many times this time was a little bit different. While we still enjoy the scenery of the place in the location, we’re not very happy with the security guard on property. He decided it would be great to yell at our children, not realizing that we were right around the corner on the pool rules. It says adult Jacuzzi 21 or older, but nobody labels which Jacuzzis are which my autistic child mistakenly went to the wrong Jacuzzi and managed to get yelled at. He wasn’t acting up. He was sitting quietly next to his sister, just enjoying the water as we watched the security guard come right up to them and start to scold them very harshly. I was in the balcony above them as this happened, and I confronted the security guard myself asking him not to talk to my children like that please be careful if you come here. Make sure your children know what pool they need to be in because the security guard has no common decency or know how to talk to children. My kids are 15 and 16 years old. They’re very responsible kids. They were not acting up. There was no need for him to talk to them like that.. the pro said there was nothing they can do as he is hired by the HOA or contemplating ever renting here again
