Amazing coastal location with access to sandy beach. Modern build with incredible sea views from most rooms. Situated in a lovely village with places to eat and drink, and the NC500 is five miles away.. Ground Floor:

There are four generously proportioned bedrooms (three with en-suite facilities, and a separate family bathroom). The spacious master bedroom also has a dressing room. The downstairs kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped with all modern appliances and the dining room is separate. Balintore and the adjoining seaside village of Shandwick are completely unspoilt and provide idyllic seaside holidays without the crowds. Dolphins, seals, porpoises and a wide variety of seabirds are seen in the locality. The village has a local store, pub, café and restaurant, all within a short walk from the property. Further facilities are available in the nearby town of Tain.

A beautiful house in the most amazing location, right on a gorgeous sandy beach.We had a brilliant time on our second visit to this house, with lots of time spent on the beach and watching for dolphins from the balcony, as well as on the brilliant Ecoventures boat trip from nearby (by small ferry) Cromarty.The house has everything you need and is so comfortable.

We had a wonderful week in „On the beach“ with our two dogs. The Location is perfect for day trips in the Highlands as well as for relaxing at the Beach. We didn‘t miss anything and wished to stay longer at this place.

the best we have ever stayed in, great views, nice beach,highly recommend it. good for small children especially. rooms are large, local shop and pub.

On the Beach is truly special. The view from the upstairs lounge is mesmerising. Well thought out House for families with loads of space for everyone. To allow dogs is another plus, our 2 dogs were on the beach first thing with our grandchildren, simple pleasures but Shandwick beach is perfect, the noise from the surf calms the soul. Utter bliss. My 12 year old granddaughter loves up north as she calls it, we visit every year and can’t wait for next year.
