Facility:

Experience your vacation in the southern part of the island of Rügen. The vacation apartments are equipped to a very high standard and evoke a maritime vacation atmosphere. The Alte Fischfabrik Lauterbach is located right next to the harbor. Although the apartments are close to the railroad tracks, it’s relatively quiet here. From May through September, Germany’s oldest narrow-gauge railway, the “Rasende Roland,” runs here, connecting the Baltic Sea resorts on the Mönchgut Peninsula in the southeastern part of the island. You’ll find more information about the train schedule at the end of this text.
The vacation apartments feature sun-drenched balconies where you can spend pleasant hours. If you’d rather go “ashore,” then the harbor is the perfect spot for you. Here you can buy freshly caught fish or treat your taste buds at one of the restaurants.

Take the time to discover Lauterbach. How about an evening stroll along the many sailboats in the small town’s harbor? Enjoy the beauty of Lauterbach—maritime charm, picturesque thatched-roof houses, and many small cafés and restaurants await you here.
Nature lovers will also find plenty to enjoy here. The surrounding area, with its many biking and hiking trails, invites you to explore the stunning landscape of the Southeast Rügen Biosphere Reserve.
The region’s mostly unspoiled, beautiful, and peaceful beaches also promise an unforgettable vacation on the Greifswald Bodden. So, how about a visit to Lauterbach on Rügen?
