Our house is located in a quiet and central part of Schönau am Königssee and offers a magnificent view of the Berchtesgaden Alps. It is the ideal starting point for short and long hikes and mountain tours. In just 20 minutes, you can reach Königssee or the valley station of the Jennerbahn via a scenic walking path. A bus stop is about 200 meters away. An outdoor swimming pool, shops, and restaurants, as well as the town center of Schönau am Königssee, are just a few minutes’ walk away.
We provide free Wi-Fi to our guests. Parking is available right at the house.
In winter, cross-country ski trails are within a 10-minute walk. The snow-covered cross-country trail at Aschauerweiherbad is a 15-minute drive away. There is also a floodlit trail there.
In the immediate vicinity, you can go tobogganing, snowshoeing, and winter hiking on the Jenner Winter Adventure Mountain amid stunning scenery. Backcountry skiers will also find plenty to enjoy there.
The small but charming ski resorts such as Rossfeld, Obersalzberg, Hochschwarzeck, and Götschen are easily accessible by public bus or car.


Vacation Apartment 1 (Kehlstein) is located on the upper floor and offers 40 square meters of space. It features a living room, a fully equipped kitchen (stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, and toaster) with a dining area, a bedroom with a double bed (180x200), a small room with a sleeper sofa, and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. The apartment has two balconies with a table and chairs, so you can enjoy the sun from morning to night while taking in the mountain views.
