Haus Obinger is located in the Unterbichl neighborhood. We offer cozy one- and three-room apartments for two to five people. From the rooms, you’ll enjoy a breathtaking view of the Kaiser Mountains and the center of Reit im Winkl. In the summer, our sunbathing lawn with barbecue facilities is available for your use.
We are also a partner rental property of the Benzeck Ski Lifts. This means you can enjoy additional complimentary services in addition to our own offerings—such as free rides on the Benzeck lifts in winter (for a nominal fee of EUR 1.00).
For breakfast, we’re happy to offer our bread roll delivery service. That way, you’ll find fresh bread rolls from the bakery right outside your apartment door first thing in the morning. Our younger guests can really let off some steam at the playground. Our house is also an ideal starting point for various sporting activities. Vacationing with your pet? No problem! The one-room apartment features a bathroom with a shower and toilet. In the small kitchenette with a 2-burner stove, you can prepare light meals. The living/sleeping area also features a small dining nook. From the balcony, you’ll enjoy a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains. Breakfast available upon request.
Reit im Winkl, a climatic health resort According to Wikipedia, the designation “climatic health resort” is awarded to “locations whose air and climate, according to an expert assessment, possess qualities that are beneficial for relaxation and health.” Reit im Winkl was designated a health resort in 1956 and has consistently met the criteria for this designation ever since through its ongoing efforts. One key factor is its high elevation, which ensures that summer heat is moderated and nights remain pleasantly cool. The town is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and, in terms of its general climate, belongs to the “Bavarian Alps” climate region. The character of the weather is decisively determined by the local conditions—that is, by the influence of the mountain ranges and valleys on weather patterns. In addition to the natural conditions that ensure good air quality, we actively work to preserve the fresh mountain air through the use of natural heat and an extensive bus service.
