Built with love, you’re sure to love Betty’s House too. It is a lovely, light and airy property with views across the owner’s land to the river. A great area for exploring Norfolk.. Ground Floor:

Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. Back garden with patio, garden furniture and barbecue. Electric car charging point, at cost. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Originally a bespoke build for Betty herself, Betty’s House has everything you need for a lovely Norfolk holiday. With two double bedrooms on the first floor, one of which has dual aspect windows with views across the owner’s land to the river, here you will also find a high-end contemporary shower room with a large shower cubicle. On the ground floor you will find a modern kitchen with thoughtful added extras like a coffee machine, which is waiting ready for you to make your morning java to drink on the patio. The living area is a lovely light and airy space with French doors that allow you to bring the outside in. This property was built with love because it was built by the owners for someone they love, and it really shows. Internally, it has since been completely refurbished ready for guests to come and make some holiday memories and is the perfect escape from the stresses and strains of everyday life.
When it comes to things to see and do, you will most certainly be spoilt for choice. With Pensthorpe Nature Reserve a very short distance away nature lovers will be delighted to learn that Sheringham Park, Royal Society for the Protection of Birds Cley Marshes and the Norfolk Broads are all within easy reach too. History buffs can explore the Blickling, Houghton, Holkham and Sandringham Estates, the Muckleburgh and Thursford Collections, the latter with its Christmas Spectacular and Santa’s Magical Journey and the North Norfolk Heritage Railway. And you can be at the stunning Norfolk coastline exploring beautiful beaches, wild marshes, walking cliff-tops, promenade and even a pier, or sitting on the quayside at Wells-next-the-Sea eating fish and chips within twenty minutes. This coastline really does have it all so whether you are a wild swimmer a blustery beach walker, a paddler or sandcastle maker, there will be something for you. Add in great golf courses, nearby fishing lakes, lovely walks and nice, flat cycle routes and you will soon see why this area is so popular. One of the nicest properties we've stayed in, it's spacious, bright and well-equipped. The owner introduced himself on the first day and was very helpful but you are left alone unless you need further help which I'm sure would be forthcoming.Disappointing that there wasn't a pub still open in the village but still plenty around in other villages nearby. We really enjoyed our visit to Sandringham and plenty of other stuff to see including great beaches.

Betty's House is a very comfortable, well-appointed holiday let. There is an attractive living area overlooking a very large garden with views over to the river Wensum. The kitchen is well equipped, maybe would benefit from some basins to reheat food in the microwave? Comfortable bed (we can only speak for one!), good shower and upstairs and downstairs toilets. well recommended!
