Access the back porch through the living room, where a sprawling deck with outdoor lounging and dining options awaits your meals under the summer sun and starry nights. You’ll enjoy the large backyard while the kiddos have plenty of space to run, play, and let their imaginations go wild. You can also walk down the road to Barley Neck Landing, where it’s easy to launch kayaks into Pleasant Bay.

We enjoyed our week at the barley neck house. The house was large and clean. House is fairly stripped but overall comfortable. Could use some better kitchen supplies. Deck is perfect, nice yard.

We had a great stay overall! The home was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. We especially enjoyed the lovely outdoor deck—it was perfect for relaxing and dining outside.A few small suggestions to improve the experience: the overhead lighting in the main room was a bit bright, so a couple of lamps would help. Some hooks in the outdoor shower would also be handy for towels and clothes, and a few food storage containers in the kitchen would be useful for leftovers. That said, we enjoyed our time and would happily stay again!

The home was a great size and it felt like we were in the treetops even on the first floor. It was a perfect place for our family to gather and close to everything we needed to do. Thank you.
