Classic Outer Banks charm meets unbeatable beach location at Seashell Bungalow, a Kitty Hawk cottage just one street back from the ocean. Lovingly maintained and full of timeless coastal character, this charming house is perfect for couples and small families looking for an authentic OBX getaway.
The whole house sits on one level with minimal entry steps, which means easy arrivals with bags in hand. Three bedrooms sleep up to six comfortably. The primary queen bedroom has a private en suite with a walk-in shower. A second queen bedroom shares the hall bath. A third room doubles as a sunroom and guest space, with a twin daybed and pull-out trundle. The thoughtfully equipped kitchen, outdoor shower, and gas grill make it easy to settle in and enjoy time at home, while the large back deck and open outdoor space give guests and pets room to spread out, unwind, and enjoy the coastal breeze.
Location location location! Ideally located near the Kitty Hawk Pier, Rundown Cafe, Arts Place, and more local shops. It's a quiet stretch of beach with easy access to everything worth doing on the Outer Banks. There are more public beach accesses less than a mile from the property. The stunning dune views and semi-oceanfront location offer a tranquil backdrop to create some unforgettable experiences, your group can rest assured that the surrounding area will emit its truly blissful nature and all expectations will be met at Seashell Bungalow!

Seashell Bungalow is now pet-friendly, so there is no need to leave your pooch at home! For a small one-time fee of $155, you can bring up to two dogs to our pet-friendly property. No cats or other animals, dogs only.

Check-In begins at 4pm. Your keyless entry code will begin granting access at this time.

The house was great. The rooms were a nice size and comfortable. The only thing I didn’t like but got around it was the pickers that were in the yard. You couldn’t go barefoot because the pickers got in your feet all the time! I like the quietness of the location too!

Great for pets but warn renters to bring booties for the prolific sand spurs. Very clean and great access for pets and mobility challenged renters.

The property was the perfect size and the location was amazing. Just across the street from the beach in Kitty Hawk! There was a hiccup regarding water heater was not working for 1st day and a half, but, the property manager responded quickly and had people over to fix it ASAP. And the workers were great as well. Respectful and did a good job.Not ideal to have a hot water heater being removed and installed during our stay, but, things happen. Overall, not a big issue. The coffee maker stopped working on the last day of our stay, which is also not a huge deal. Otherwise, the property itself was pretty clean and well kept. Perfect little beach bungalow and would 100% stay there again! Would definitely recommend the property and and Kees Rentals

Very nice house. 2 issues it had was a very musty/moth ball smell when you first walked in. But we left windows and doors open to air it out and we were probably the first people to rent it for the season. Also one of the drawers in the master bathroom had mold in it and the house had some water damage in the past. But very good backyard and beach access
