The villa was beautiful, and the setting was idyllic - peaceful and beautiful garden with a stone path leading to the pool.

Villa is located in a very beautiful & well-maintained complex. 2 covered & shaded patios overlook the infinity pool & the ocean beyond. When the tide is out, there is a small beach below, but access is via a steep narrow path next to coral formations, so we just enjoyed the pool & the views of cruise ships passing by to & from Puerto Plata. On the days that we wanted to enjoy beaches that offer rented loungers & umbrellas, with several restaurants/bars, we instead went to either Sosúa Beach or Playa Alicia (20-30 minute walk/10-minutes via taxi), or took a 20-minute taxi ride each way to/from Cabarete. We thoroughly enjoyed our month-long stay & found the house spacious & comfortable.
