Relax on your ocean view balcony! Seahorse Retreat welcomes you to a tropical paradise filled with streams, waterfalls, and winding paths. Swim in the lagoon-style heated pool, and head to the beach for a walk down to the Pier. The kitchen features stainless appliances and smooth counters, and is equipped with dishes, pots and pans, and cooking utensils. The living area with cozy fireplace is a great place to unwind after a day in the surf and sun, or perhaps a day of sightseeing. The bathroom has a tub/shower combination and a separate dressing area.
Make My Vacation also provides all linens and towels, beach chairs and beach towels. The Living Room TV is provided for your entertainment, as well as free wireless Internet.
As you walk through the staffed secure gate to oceanfront North Coast Village, you are transported to a tropical oasis reminiscent of the Costa Rican Rain Forest. Running streams, waterfalls, lush foliage, and Koi meander through the spacious grounds of this resort-like beachfront condominium complex in Oceanside California.
You will notice the crystal clear heated pool and spa, gleaming barbecues, convenient picnic tables, sand rinsing stations to remove the lingering beach. If you need a break from sun and surf, you might enjoy a game of pool, a jog on a treadmill in the exercise room, a little ping pong, or a sauna. Feeding our giant Koi is a simple pleasure not to be missed during your Oceanside visit.
Parties or events are not allowed at this property. Please note that there is no central air conditioning at North Coast Village.
When you venture through the back gates, you find yourself on one of North San Diego County’s finest beaches: broad and flat with volleyball, and great surf breaks - right out back! Beach towels and chairs are provided with the condo.
To the north, you can walk or bike to Oceanside’s busy little harbor for a bite to eat or some boating, and to the south, you can venture down the strand to southern California’s longest pier for some fishing (no license needed). North Coast Village is close enough to walk to everything near the beach, so your car can stay in its secure underground parking spot - especially useful when beach parking becomes a premium in the summer.
The Mainstreet Oceanside Farmer's Market is a delightful experience near the Pier which takes place every Thursday from 9-1.
Within a short drive, visit Disneyland & California Adventure, Knott's Berry Farm, Universal Studios, Magic Mountain, Balboa Island, La Jolla, Mission San Juan Capistrano, Mission Luis Rey, Queen Mary, San Diego State Parks, San Diego Wild Animal Park, Legoland, Sea World, The Flower Fields of Carlsbad, Temecula Wine Country, San Diego Zoo, Del Mar Racetrack, Coronado Island, Oceanside Harbor, Birch Aquarium at Scripp's Institute of Oceanography, Palomar Observatory.

Very comfortable small apartment super close to the beach. Lots of extra blankets and towels, and all of the various incidentals were in great supply!

Sitting on the balcony with our morning coffee was wonderful! There was a beautiful little view of the ocean which pleased me very much!We would definitely use this condo again on any return trip to Oceanside!

Photos are a little misleading. Narrow/limited ocean view from the balcony. A photo of the pool makes it look as though you can see the ocean from the pool area which you can’t. There are units surrounding the whole pool area. The bedroom faces a loud busy road and the window opens right up to the gate cars leave and enter through so there’s a lot of banging and squeaking from that gate. There is no air-conditioning, which normally wouldn’t be a problem, but you need to have that window open so it’s hard to sleep with noise. We had a pretty aggressive, nasty sewage smell happening when we arrived. It took a couple days to get it addressed. The condo is well stocked with necessities. Good for families with a baby. Pack and play and high chair. No cooler (said there would be one) though to take to the beach. The actual location of the complex is great. The area is beautiful and the grounds are well maintained. Pool and hot tubs are lovely. Checking was easy.
