We had 2 adults and a young teen that slept on the fold out bed. Perfect amount of space for the 3 of us. The property was VERY clean and the host has everything you need and things you never thought you’d need. There is a plethora of hooks to hang towels, bathing suits, bags, etc was huge to me as I feel that’s often overlooked. If you’ve never been, the location is a 10 minute drive to downtown.

What an amazing little place, Dune View is! I was looking for a place to stay for a week with my dog, but that was near Ludington for a family reunion. Sometimes I find that short-term rentals are either too large or a little cramped. Everything was perfect! There’s a big yard with a fire pit that I didn’t use (too many activities at the reunion) and, as a cook, I really appreciated having everything I needed to stay in and cook when I wanted to retreat from other events. The property is extremely clean, and the host was very interested in making sure my stay was as comfortable as possible and extremely easy to communicate with!If you bring a canine companion, there is even a little bucket of paw towels waiting to knock off sand or dirt. You may want to plan on seeking out good walking trails (just 10 minutes to beautiful Ludington State Park, and nice paths in nearby Cartier Park or even in some of the residential neighborhoods of Ludington) because there is no sidewalk on the road (but there is VERY little traffic).I loved my stay at Dune View and hope to come back!

Everything was great. Clean, check in process was very simple. Great communications with the owner. Very open to changes. Great view of part of the lake.
