Clohars-Carnoet is a town on the Atlantic coast located at the SOUTHEAST end of the Finistère department. The town has 2 small ports, Le Pouldu at the mouth of the Laïta and Doëlan.
Le Pouldu has fine sandy beaches, Les Grands Sables, Bellangenet and Kérou.

I booked this apartment for my family because of the photos and the 10/10 rating. Well … The area and the view are a 10/10, but the flat is not. Everything is a bit outdated or slightly broken. The upstairs room is hard to navigate for an adult-size person. With four people, there’s hardly any room to maneuver. We kept finding dark animal hair on the floor for a few days after moving in. On the bright side: The owner was very nice, check-in was easy. The location right next to the ocean is amazing. A mini-market and a bakery are in walking distance. The hiking trail and beautiful beaches are right next door.

This is a very nice property that has plenty of room and good facilities. The owner is charming and helpful. We were very pleased to have a full-sized dishwasher in particular. Most of the furnishings and equipment are in very good condition, unlike some other places we have rented. There were games (Scrabble, Monopoly etc) for wet days. There are a few cafés and small restaurants nearby and a good local shop for supplies. The excellent street market on Wednesdays is well worth a visit.
Our only low point was that there was a very noisy rock festival on the first day/night when we arrived which kept us awake. After that it was very quiet.
The cliff walks are lovely and easy to find. We parked the car at the owner's other property about 5 minutes walk away which was secure.
