Located off Highway 30A is Crab Cottage, a pristine luxury beach rental dream. With 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and space to sleep 12, there’s nothing you won’t love about this beach cottage. Prepare to fall in love.
The home’s location is attractive enough being mere steps from the sugar white sands of the Emerald Coast, but bonus features like the 6-seater golf cart and complimentary beach cruisers make it even more attractive. You’ll love spending time outdoors at Crab Cottage. Whether its wiling away the afternoon on the front porch swing or laughing over drinks or lounging in the hammock on the covered back patio while the grill roars, Crab Cottage offers the ultimate in beachy R&R.
Inside the home, the cool coastal theme is pitch perfect. Soft beechwood colored furnishings and ivory and seafoam accents create an ambiance you’ll want to sink into. The first floor is the main gathering area with a large living space and a well appointed high end kitchen with designer backsplash. The dining table has seating for six, and there’s an additional space for four at the counter bar. The first floor is rounded out with a mud room and a guest with a king bed.
The second floor has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms; the master suite has a private en suite bath. The bunk room has ample sleeping space and is perfect for the kids. All three of the rooms have balcony access. It’s luxury and relaxation at its best!

Crab Cottage has set the bar!!! We absolutely loved our stay at this house conveniently located in Prominence. This house is beautiful appointed (and very clean) and has everything you could need for the stay. We visited with our young adult children, and everyone had their own space, yet we loved gathering in the living room, around the kitchen island or on the patio. The big porch swing was my absolute favorite and the perfect place to quietly enjoy morning coffee. The owner's thought of everything including items for the beach- beach chairs, a wagon for hauling the gear, spike ball set, skim board, and of course the 6-person golf cart. We loved making the short trek to Deer Lake State Park beach- stunning. If the pool is your vibe, it is across the street. The house location is perfect with walking access to The Big Chill where we enjoyed our nightly ice cream. The management company was also so easy to work with and communication was great. We have stayed in several condos in the area but this house was just PERFECT in every way. We will definitely be back.

Pool across the street, good places to eat a few blocks away and the beach 1 mile away. Place was roomy and had everything we needed. Would def stay here again!

The house was beautiful and clean, perfectly accommodated our family and it was fun to have the big chill close, however we didn’t come for that, we came for the beach and the access is not convenient at all, especially with small children. I felt as if the posting for the house was misleading because it’s only in the fine print they tell you that you have to go to the state park for beach access which consists of driving a mile to the state park and then walk a 8-10min boardwalk to go to the beach. The location says prominence but if you aren’t familiar with it, it’s easy to think you have Watersound access because Watersound surrounds this little community. Don’t make this mistake like we did if you want convenient beach access. Again, zero complaints on the house, it was wonderful. We’d never stay here again because the beach access is important to us.
