Local shops include Kernowsuishimi (fresh locally caught fish) and Gear farm organic pasties, both 5 minutes walk away and three excellent restaurant/pubs 8 minutes drive away- Trelowarren restaurant "Flora" , the Ship Inn & the Prince of Wales. Walking direct from the front door is superb in four different directions and there are 11 different beaches 10 minutes drive away. St.Ives is a short drive North.
