The Barn is attached and part of a now non-working farm called Higher Boden, which comprises of a Grade 11 listed farmhouse and outbuildings which have been converted into other dwellings. It is located on the Lizard peninsula 2 miles from the Helford River and sea. It is an ideal place for those who just want to get away from it all and also those with active families. The old stone barn has been sensitively converted to accommodate up to 10 people, it is full of simple rustic character and charm. There are plenty of beautiful walks, both coastal and inland, with beaches very close at hand. The stable block can provide extra space for the kids and has a full-size Table Tennis table.We provide high-speed Internet Access.
In high season, July/ August, minimum stay is 7 days, and Saturday changeover other times of the year you can check in / out any day

The perfect getaway in a quiet rural setting. Plenty of safe space for children to play or in our case with a young dog. Very comfortable bedrooms and a well provisioned kitchen. We had a great time.

Very warm and comfortable for family and dogs during a wet October week,with plenty to do and in a good position in beautiful countryside.Great,but unobtrusive support from owners ,friendly caretakers and helpful neighbours.Well equipped, sensibly decorated property. Good pubs!

Fabulous, cosy, homely and well equipped farm house with open fire, log stove and Aga - perfect for our family Christmas get-together (it fitted up 12 with local day visitors). As long as you want to be remote and don't mind not being right on a beach (though not too far!) this is a wonderful choice.
