We enjoyed our time in this unit. The Lanai view of Diamond Head is exceptional. You also see the mountains & ocean. On a clear day you can see Molokai from the lanai. The building is centrally located in Waikiki so easy walking to the beach, restaurants and stores. The furnishings are nothing special, but the unit contained everything we needed for our month stay. The owner met us on arrival and got us registered into the building security system. It was great to have the owner as a contact in case of any issues. But there were no issues during our stay. My only improvement suggestion concerns the futon. Either get a new mattress or better, replace it with a nice love seat. Mahalo again to the owner for hosting us.

I have stayed in this building many times but this was my first time in this condo. The owner has thought of everything and its like living at home if you need it it is there. The accommodation was clean and well kept . Owner is available and responds to any needs .

We stayed in Eriko's studio condo for a month. Everything we needed was there, even an umbrella for a rainy day! The building is very secure and the location is close to all that Waikiki has to offer. The lanai was exceptional, being on a high floor was fabulous.

Unit is well located within Waikiki and within the hotel itself
We have stayed at Island Colony in the past and we will go again. There were some minor issues initially, bath fan not working, loose tile, older microwave / low wattage / small, and we did have a few insects which we sprayed for.
Overall the stay was for a month and after a few days we realized that the garbage shoute was just outside the door which was why the smell in the hallway did not seemed to dissipate when you opened the door. Inside was fine. It was functional. Typical suite for this age of building that has not been upgraded.
