The Space:
Forest Farm Tiny House by Tiny Away is nestled in the rural beauty of Whakamarama, North Island New Zealand's Bay of Plenty. It sits next to a charming barn with stunning views across rolling pastures and forests, stretching to Mount Maunganui and the vast open ocean.

Within a short drive, you'll find Tauranga's sandy beaches and the serene Waipapa River, winding through Kaimai Mamaku Forest Park. Mount Maunganui Ocean Beach is also just a quick drive away, with Hamilton and the scenic Waikato region an hour's drive from here. Nearby attractions include the majestic Wairere Falls, the scenic Te Puna Quarry Park, and the peaceful McLaren Falls Park.

A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy water access, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include a flush toilet, hand basin, and shower (gas-heated for hot showers) for you to use.

IMPORTANT NOTE: We would like to inform you that this accommodation is a farm stay with farm animals on site, which sometimes creates noise. If you're not an early riser, we recommend bringing earplugs.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the tiny home and can explore the farm with their hosts' permission. However, guests will not be allowed to enter paddocks where the cows are grazing or enter farm buildings.

Forest Farm Tiny House by Tiny Away sits in the rural area of Whakamarama, North Island, New Zealand. Only an hour's drive from Hamilton and 30 minutes from the city of Tauranga. Where you can explore bushwalking trails, white sandy beaches, rock pools, and more.

Wairere Falls near Matamata is the highest waterfall in the North Island, with a 1.5-hour return walk that leads to cascades and a 153-meter plunge. In Tauranga, Waimarino Water & Adventure Park offers family fun on the Wairoa River, while McLaren Falls Park is ideal for camping, kayaking, fishing, and evening glow worm walks.

Te Puna Quarry Park Gardens provides a scenic setting with orchids, ponds, and sculptures, often used for weddings and celebrations. For a relaxed coastal experience, Omokoroa in the Bay of Plenty offers beaches, walkways, and golf in a laid-back village atmosphere.

PLEASE READ: We advise guests with young children to keep an eye on them at all times, as there are water troughs and electric fencing on the farmlet.
