KC Blue is a gorgeous Emerald Isle home situated on the ocean side of the island in a private gated community and provides the perfect level of seclusion for a week away!
Ground Level: Game Room with Foosball Table and Patio Access.
First Level: Living, Dining, Full Equipped Kitchen, Deck Access. Bedroom #1 with Queen Bed, TV, Shared Bath Access. Shared Full Bath this level.
Second Level: Bedroom #2 with Queen Bed, TV, Shared Bath Access. Bedroom #3 with Double Bed + Futon (linens not provided for futon), TV, Shared Bath Access. Shared Full Bath this level.
Amenities include:
-Community Club Membership with Community Pool, Concessions, and Beach Access!
-Game room with a foosball table for a chill night in!
-Scenic Pond on the premesis!
-Access to a golf cart to get around the neighborhood easily!
-Amazing outdoor bar area!

Linens and towels provided with Beds Made for Weekly and Nightly stays (linens not provided for futon).

Up to 2 Dogs Allowed with our All-Inclusive Pet Policy - No fee! It is the responsibility of pet owners to ensure that they clean up after their pets (i.e., picking up waste from property grounds). Should the guest fail to do so, an additional fee of $100 will be charged to the credit card on file.
Rents Weekly Saturday - Saturday. Rents Nightly with a 3 night minimum in advance during Off Season and last minute during In Season.

(1) Guests must pay in full when booking through VRBO. The card provided at the time of booking will be charged for the total. Guest will receive follow up communications including Management Company’s Vacation Rental Agreement for e-signature which is required for all stays.
(2) Management Company reserves the right to deny stays less than 7 nights, if the arrival date is more than 30 days out from the booking date. Stays less than 7 nights, with an arrival date between mid-April to mid-October, are strictly prohibited unless approved by management.

The house was exactly as pictured. Clean enough, easy drive to the pool and the boardwalk to the beach. We enjoyed a bike ride and time on the deck. Comfortable and enough space for the four of us. Might feel crowded with more. We were surprised to be dealing with a vacation rentals company when we got there, not a traditional VRBO host be sure to note that no paper products or soaps/detergents are provided. That was a frustrating, expensive extra trip to the store!

I always read reviews and book accordingly. They’re pretty spot-on in their accuracy. KC Blue didn’t have any. Booking only two weeks out with a standard poodle in tow, you kind of just take what is available. This was that for us. I’m sure KC is owned by lovely people, so my suggestions are given with pure intentions. The place has deferred maintenance. And it was dirty. Calls were made and management sent a lovely husband and wife team out to re-clean the floors and sweep the carpets. Dog hair was literally laying in piles anywhere it could pool. The deck out back needed mushy/unsafe boards replaced, which Jose took care of the next morning. Dried and old (you can just tell) leaves were in corners of the patio. The patio furniture is old and rusty. The golf cart was out for servicing and wasn’t delivered until Monday. The living room furniture needs replaced. It’s very uncomfortable. But that was clearly depicted in their online pics. Now for the positive: that covered upper deck was a blessing, as we were down during Hurricane Debby!! And it overlooks the most gorgeous little pond. KC Blue is in a very lovely neighborhood, but since the golf cart isn’t allowed out on coast guard drive, you’re kinda left to just cruise the same area. We have a getaway, and even though we don’t rent our place, others in our resort do. I know cleanliness is a factor everywhere. Management should def pre-check before every renter to avoid poor reviews going forward.
