Lovely family villa located in a quiet road with no through traffic just 3 mins walk to Luz Beach and lots of restaurants and shops. Relax and dine 'al fresco' on the large sunny patio off the living area or chill out on the patio by the swimming pool soaking up the sunshine!
The entrance hall has stairs to the living area upstairs, which comprises a bright lounge and dining area, guest toilet and a separate kitchen and pantry, while couple of steps down from the entrance hall leads to the 3 bedrooms, bathrooms and pool area.
With a modern twist on traditional styling, the upstairs lounge is splendidly furnished with two squashy, comfortable couches and matching armchair, while the large flat screen TV, DVD player and music centre rest on a delightful white antique sideboard. A wood-burning stove has been installed in the fireplace which boasts a traditional semi-circular chimney. Contributing to the bright and modern theme, the large white dining table with seating for 6. Sunshine streams into the living room through the glass doors that lead to a spacious veranda with blue & white retractable awning over a large table and chairs and a charcoal BBQ. Steps from the veranda lead down to the pool area on the lower level.
Beside the living area is a new kitchen with an adjoining pantry. The well-equipped kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, and also an electric kettle, coffee makers, toaster, ample crockery, pots and pans and an iron and ironing board.
Also on this level is a guest bathroom, with toilet and hand basin, while in a small alcove at the top of the stairs there is a simple, but useful, desk.
On the lower level, a few steps down from the entrance hall is the family bathroom which has a bath with a shower, toilet and hand basin.
The Master Bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with bath, shower, bidet, toilet and wash basin. The Master Bedroom has a 6 ft bed, fitted wardrobes and doors to the pool area.
Bedroom 2, also at the rear, has twin beds, has a new en-suite shower & toilet, mirrored wardrobe and it opens onto a sheltered patio near the pool area.
Bedroom 3, beside the main bathroom, has twin beds, mirrored wardrobe and it opens to a small terrace at the front of the house.
The private pool features a separate paddling area there is lots of space for sun beds.
There is free parking in the cul de sac outside the villa, although a car is not essential for guests staying here as everything in the village is within walking distance, and there is a regular bus service to Lagos and some other beaches, making it a great base for a family sun holiday!
Dolphin & grotto trips and all watersports, tennis, riding and Golf are all available locally as well as zoos and waterparks. Lagos (9 km) has historic buildings, museums, a lovely palm-fringed promenade with lots of market stalls, a new marina, dolphin safaris, zoo and a host of choices for shopping & dining.

We had an absolutely perfect stay at this property in Praia da Luz. The location was ideal — only about a five-minute slow walk to a beautiful beach that, even during the eight days we were there, was never crowded. There were always plenty of chairs and shaded areas available, which made beach days incredibly relaxing.The town itself was wonderful and peaceful, while still being close enough to Lagos that an Uber or rideshare was only about 10, making day trips and dinners very easy.The apartment exceeded our expectations. It was gorgeous, immaculately maintained, and we had absolutely no issues during our stay. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with all the utensils and cookware we needed. A supermarket with everything we could possibly need was only about a ten-minute walk away.The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable with plenty of linens provided. Even during the heat, the house stayed naturally cool most of the time, and the mini-split heat pumps in each bedroom and the common area worked perfectly when needed.The pool area was one of the highlights for us — large, spotless, private, and beautifully maintained, with lots of loungers and shaded seating. Having direct pool access from two of the bedrooms was fantastic. The pool received sun from morning until early evening, which was perfect for our group.The owners and property manager were always available, responsive, and very helpful whenever we had questions. The welcome booklet was also complete.

This property was the perfect set up for three couples and/or a family. We were 2 couples and it was perfect. A 3 minute walk to a beautiful beach, lots of restaurants and a fairly big grocery store all in walking distance. The bus system to Lagos was 1 euro and well worth the several trips we made to Lagos to visit different sites and boardwalks. The rental property was exceptional with a nice pool even though not heated. We had a rental car by choice and this allowed us to visit all of the Algarve area…beautiful!! We plan on returning within the next two years. I would recommend this unit to any family or up to 3 couples no problem whatsoever. A minor complaint if I may, would be having access to a small styrofoam or any type cooler for the lunches we packed everyday. Great villa with one off road parking space at the front. Big, spacious accommodation with plenty of storage. Nice sea view from veranda and the kids loved the pool (unheated so a bit nippy in april).Walking distance to small shops such as Spar, beach, cafes and bars. Lovely sandy beach. We would recommend Nah Nah Bar and Bar Habana for food close by. Went into Lagos twice which was really nice. Ate at Lazy Jacks and Shalimar. Both really nice food especially Shalimar (indian). A toilet door handle broke the first day but this was fixed within 24 hours of me reporting it.Would have been helpful to have had tea, coffee, sugar to get us started as arrived tea time.

Casa Merasol is a lovely villa and we did have a nice stay. However, we had some issues with the villa and had to contact Clara who was very helpful. Priai da Luz is a beautiful place and perfect for a quiet holiday. Our holiday was very nice overall but we were a little disappointed at the issues we encountered.
