Come visit our spacious brick, one-level beach house "Starfish Cottage" in 'Paradise Retreat'. Just a short stroll takes you straight to the emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico. We are located in the Paradise Retreat community which offers private beach access. We hope you will make yourself at home in this four-bedroom, two full bath home which is dressed in a nautical fashion in appreciation of the coastal lifestyle and in celebration of the beautiful, delicate sea creature, the starfish. Plenty of space for multiple families!
We offer a heated private swimming pool as an option ($350.00 plus tax) during cold nights - no you do not have to share with a community! Or an entire condominium! It is all yours.
****NEW ADDITION: We have added a new option for you to rent a luxury GOLF CART to make your stay here at the Starfish Cottage more convenient and to provide a fun way to go to and from the beach! Mention in your booking whether or not you would be interested in renting a golf cart, and for an additional fee of ($450.00 plus tax) we'll have the cart at the house ready-to-go! So email us today and be sure to inquire about one of the best ways to get to go to the beach in our luxury golf cart!!!!****
The master bedroom is private and features its own large bath, a walk-in closet, beautifully furnished, king-size bedding, flat screen TV.
The large great room is sunny & bright with natural sunlight, a large sectional sofa which has a queen sleeper for those extra friends! Plenty of seating, flat screen TV, you can sit & enjoy the pool view from the great room.

The second adult bedroom is cool and inviting with a nostalgic theme for starfish original art, flat screen TV.
Large dining table seats 8 with ease, fully-stocked kitchen seats 4 at the bar, Side by side door refrigerator, ice maker, water dispenser, gas grill by the pool, pool toys, bicycles in garage.
If you need to connect with the outside world, we offer free high-speed wireless internet. In addition, our property manager is always available to answer any questions you may have. Give us a call today for further information regarding our rental home or to plan your upcoming Florida vacation!

Many harbor restaurants will 'cook your catch'. Baytowne Wharf at Sandestin is 6 minutes away with lots of activities for family fun! The lovely Destin Commons has a movie theater, fine-dining, shopping, kids water fountain & play ground. A huge Bass Pro Shop sporting good store in Destin Commons is equipped with a giant shark display perfect for vacation photos and precious memories!

Difficult to enter gated community arriving in the dark and finding the pad for the gate. Property nice but dated and dark. Was not the beach feel and decorations did not match. Golf cart was a nice touch. Pool small but clean!

The beach access is far from the house in my opinion. Even if you drive a golf cart down there is no parking at your private access. Still have to walk a good bit and carry all your items. When taking kids that’s a lot of items! Kitchen was not stocked well with silverware. Some nights we would have to wash a fork when someone was down for another to use it. Our occupancy was 8. Getting in and out of the gates to the house was a pain. The driveway only fit two cars comfortably. We had to squish the cars in and still hung on the sidewalk some. Which is not allowed. We had two small cars and one small suv. Even if you rent the golf cart you have to pull all the cars in and out all day to be able to park it in the garage. We had an issue with the golf cart. Which happens! After the hassle of even using it just the one day we decided to get our money back. No where else to park it but in the garage. And no way in the garage without moving cars. Cars are not allowed in the garage. The air went out in the house for a day in a half and was fixed as promptly as could be. Things happen. But, this house was not convenient for our family at all.
