The small village of Talais is located just six kilometers east of the famous seaside resort of Soulac-sur-Mer on the Médoc peninsula between the Gironde estuary and the Atlantic Ocean. Bordeaux is approximately 90 km away. You can see the rolls of the Atlantic Ocean, for example by walking in Soulac. Our advice: Take the ferry from Pointe de Grave on the other side to Royan.
