The Space:

A charming, comfortable four-bedroom holiday home right on the edge of Lake Rotorua in Koutu, with lovely lake views and a relaxed, family-friendly feel. The master opens through to the back deck and a private spa pool - a great spot to unwind at the end of the day - and there's a BBQ for long summer evenings. Kayaks and life jackets are provided, so you can head straight out onto the water, and the lake is right there for a swim or a paddle. It's an easy, peaceful base, just a few minutes from central Rotorua and its restaurants, shops and geothermal attractions.

The Neighborhood:

Rose Lake Retreat sits in Koutu, a quiet, mostly-residential lakeside pocket right on the edge of Lake Rotorua, just northwest of the city. You're on the water's edge here - great for a morning paddle or a swim - and only about 7 minutes' drive from central Rotorua, with its restaurants, shops and geothermal attractions. Skyline, the Polynesian Spa and the lakefront are all within a few minutes, making it an easy base for exploring the region.



Getting Around:

A car is handy here, with free parking on-site and on the street. By car, central Rotorua, the Polynesian Spa and Skyline are all about 7 minutes away, Te Puia around 10, the Redwoods about 14, and Rotorua Airport roughly 18. The lake is right on your doorstep, with kayaks and life jackets provided.
