If you know San Diego, you know Mission Hills is the best place to be, offering both privacy and proximity to all major attractions and beaches. The home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood so its great for large groups, but NOT GREAT for late night parties (e.g. bachelor parties, etc). We request guests respect the city noise ordinance and head inside by 10:00 p.m.
You can walk to many of San Diego's top attractions, and drive to the rest in just 10-15 minutes. We still recommend renting a car so you can explore all San Diego has to offer.
Within 10-15 minute walk to:
- Waterfront Park
- Little Italy (quaint shopping and dining, just blocks away)
- Mission Hills shopping district
- Banker's Hill (cool restaurants, bars, coffee shops)
- San Diego Harbor

** LOCATION **
Our home is located in the best neighborhood in San Diego, offering great proximity to most attractions and fantastic views. While our properties feature high quality, acoustically rated windows and doors, our central location means you will may occasionally hear the sounds of the city including planes that take off between the hours of 6:30am and 10:00 pm. If you are very sensitive to noise, staying anywhere in the downtown San Diego area may not be the right choice.
** POOL AND SPA **
While the home features a gorgeous outdoor pool and spa, not all guests choose to use it during their stay. For that reason, we don't include pool/spa heating in the nightly price of the rental. You can decide if you want to add pool/spa heating for $79/day or spa only for $49/day to your reservation. The pool is heated to 81 degrees (comfortable for lounging) and spa heated to 101 degrees.
The pool and spa are cleaned and serviced before each stay for your convenience.
** POLICIES **
If QUIET HOURS ARE NOT RESPECTED YOU MAY BE ASKED TO VACATE IMMEDIATELY WITHOUT A REFUND.
Per the San Diego Short Term Rental regulations, both the guest and host may be fined $1000 for noise violations. If going inside after 10pm is going to be problematic for your group, we recommend booking elsewhere, although the entire city is operating under the same guidelines. Living next to a vacation rental can be tough, so help us stay in good graces with them.

The unit is accurately described. It’s a very nice location and central to many of best attractions in the area. We enjoyed our stay here. It’s set up well for large families with teenagers and younger children as well. We had three generations here and every had “ their” place!

The home had everything we needed for our week getaway. Very nice kitchen/cookware (plus the grill outside), outdoor fire pit with great views, extra sheets, towels, etc., washer/dryer, and plenty of games for all ages. There are a few areas that could use some "refreshing" mainly the second bathroom where the door didn't lock and the master bathroom as the water pressure was lackluster and the rainshower feature aimlessly shot water. The neighbors will start complaining about any sort of noise even before the 10pm curfew, so be prepared for that. The hosts were very responsive and we appreciated their hospitality. Mahalo.
