Route 99 cycle route is close-by and accompanied by short walking routes. Famous local restaurants Balloo House and Daft Eddies are a short distance away, but not walkable.Your own transport is essential to make the most of the surrounding area during your stay.
A 15 minute drive away is the town of Killyleagh with its own historic castle which has hosted Van Morrison concerts and has been the setting for television dramas
The famous landmarks of Scabo Tower, Rowallane Gardens, Mount Stewart and Castleward are all nearby to explore.

An Absolutely Perfect Stay at Strangford Lough!Our stay at Robin's beautiful VRBO in Killinchy was a huge part of what made it so special.The cottage was pristine, beautifully decorated, and had everything we could possibly need. It was the perfect cozy retreat after a day of exploring the stunning Strangford Lough and surrounding areas.The location is idyllic, offering a peaceful and serene escape while still being conveniently close to local pubs and scenic walking paths. It's clear that Robin takes immense pride in their property and genuinely cares about their guests' experience.We couldn't recommend this place more highly. Thank you, Robin, for your outstanding hospitality! We're already dreaming of our next visit.

Amazing location and lovely cabin. Would highly recommend. Hosts were so lovely and went above and beyond to make our stay great.
