Tucked away in the most heavenly corner of the Texas Hill Country sits King River Ranch, a sprawling 25-acre paradise that offers its guests a perfect blend of private luxury and natural beauty. Upon driving through the gates, the KRR guest is greeted by our exclusive quarter-mile of the Pedernales River to enjoy and explore. The eye never ceases to be dazzled by impossibly charming barns, expansive horse pastures filled with friendly farm animals, the peacefully flowing river, and cinematic views in every direction, all within feet from the front door of this ultimate Hill Country getaway.

Just a stone's throw downriver from the Lyndon B. Johnson Family Ranch, KRR is conveniently located 20 minutes from shopping and dining in Fredericksburg, 25 minutes to water sports at Horseshoe Bay, under one-hour to downtown ATX and SATX, and just a skip-and-a-jump to the historic town of Hye, the epicenter of the Hill Country wineries. Being in the heart of the one of the most popular destinations in the entire Lone Star State, there is literally no end to the things to do in the immediate area.

The River Cottage is a gorgeous ranch house perched above the river on one side and panoramic views of the magnificent King Barn, horse pastures and fishing pond. The Suite is a generous and luxuriant private space built just for two, with a grand canopy bed from where you can watch deer gently cross the river. The River Cottage and Suite are included in every stay. Ask about your micro-wedding and elopement packages!
