Perched on a granite ledge in the historic village of Hall Quarry this 2+ bedroom house looks over Somes Sound and Acadia National Park. The property is centrally located on Mount Desert Island allowing easy access to all the towns and Acadia National Park. Enjoy the wrap around deck for barbecuing and help yourself to what’s ripe in the vegetable garden. Bring your hiking shoes, bikes and kayaks. You can access a boat ramp at the bottom of the hill at the J. M. Williams Boat Yard.

Such an amazing view, we ended up spending every morning on the deck just looking out and sipping coffee. The house itself has a lot of mid century charm and is very comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and cute and fairly convenient to Southwest harbor. A bit of a drive to bar harbor.
