Lake Arrowhead is a hidden gem located just 1 hour north of Atlanta. We offer accommodations at family friendly rates.
Lake Arrowhead info:
- 24 hour gated security
- at 540 acres, Arrowhead is one of the largest private lakes in Georgia.
- 18 hole golf course, pool and tennis courts
- Dine at golf clubhouse or food trucks near marina (when available)
- Great fishing for bass, crappie and bluegill.
The Lake House:
- Free use of the 3 kayaks.
- Parking for 3 cars. Additional cars can be parked at Great Festival Park.
- Water only 1-2 feet off dock but you can just float 30 feet up cove to deeper water.
- 2 queen beds on main. 1 queen downstairs. Loft with 2 twins and trundle
- Smart TV for streaming services.
- Downstairs bedroom located off unfinished basement.
- Unfinished area provided for storage and easier access to lake.
- Window ACs provided for loft and spare bedroom for guests who require extra cooling.
Location:
- 20 minutes to Yahoo Farms pumpkin patch
- 35 minutes to LakePoint Sports Park
- 45 minutes to Atlanta Braves Stadium (Truist Park)
- 45 minutes to apple picking near Ellijay
- 1 hour to Georgia Aquarium and World of Coke
- House located in the Narrows subdivision.

We had a great time. Kids fished and kayaks were great to paddle together to neighboring friends staying on the lake. Will definitely come back again!

Traveling all summer for baseball we wanted some place that would allow the boys to have things to do other than baseball. Even though it was a 35 minute drive to the fields it was well worth it. The boys loved the time on the lake. The owner had great communication and we enjoyed our stay. Will definitely look into stay here again.

The house was clean, comfortable and provided all the amenities for a very pleasant experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the lake as the fishing was great and the area is beautiful. The host was amazing and went above and beyond during our stay and we hope to be back soon.

Overall, our stay was nice, with enough rooms/beds/baths to comfortably sleep 8. The property was clean, and the host was nice and accommodating. Getting to the property, especially the first time, was quite the challenge. The pin given for the South Gate entrance still tried to take us through the North Gate (which is closed after 7:00pm) so we had to figure out on our own how to get there in the dark after driving all day. The person at the gate expected us to have a bar code already and did not have our names. We did get through after brief and friendly discussion. A few minor suggestions for our host would be to 1. Update the cookware. Pots/Pans were minimal with scratches/dents. 2. Provide extra blankets (there were extra sheets). 3. Fix or provide instructions for use of shower/bath in basement bedroom (we were not able to use it). 4. Repair driveway. It is cracked and uneven. We scraped the bottom of our car backing out. 5. Provide pokers for fire pit. 6. Fix stove/hood light. Again, we did enjoy our stay and appreciated that the price was much lower than other places we looked.
