Welcome to The Tree House! Escape to your own slice of paradise in this 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, Pet-Friendly, 2-story home. Beach access is directly across the street. The sun room and deck spaces are great ways to enjoy ocean breezes and Lowcountry sunshine. The reverse floor plan provides a spacious recently remodeled kitchen, dining area, and living room with lovely ocean views. Coastal décor and large windows provide an abundance of light and color to make this the perfect beach house setting for you, your family, and your pup!
Enter the home on the ground level to find the 3 bedrooms and 1 spacious, full bathroom. The first bedroom offers a view of the sunroom, has 1 California king bed, and a flat-screen TV. Across the hall, the second bedroom has 1 queen bed with a nautical theme and a flat-screen TV. The third bedroom is perfect for the kiddos with 1 set of twin bunk beds. The full bathroom has been updated with large walk-in shower, double sinks, and a long wooden bench. Next to the bathroom is the laundry room with a washing machine, dryer, sink, and storage cabinets.
Go up the refinished staircase to the second floor into the large living room. Relax in the large leather couch and loveseat or oversized arm chair to watch a movie or the big game on the flat-screen TV. Have breakfast or play cards at the 2-person high top table. Walk into the open kitchen, complete with brand new, stainless steel appliances. Prepare meals with lots of cabinet and counter space, or on the granite top island with a gas range. All cooking utensils and serve-ware are provided to easily cook and serve all guests at your home away from home. Gather together at the 6-person dining table to eat or play games while enjoying lovely ocean views. The bar stools provide additional 2-person seating at the kitchen island.
If you feel like dining or having cocktails outdoors in the sun, transfer dinners or breakfast out to the 6-person table on the open porch off the kitchen. Grill out on the gas grill. Take the stairs down to the ground level patio for an alternate hangout place under the palmetto trees for some shade. The large fenced-in backyard is perfect for your furry friends!
When you are ready to go to the beach, just head straight out of the home and cross the street to the public beach access. Swim in the ocean, search for shells, or just lay back and bask in the warm sunlight....but don't forget the sunscreen! Bring your dog to the beach to enjoy the fun in the sand with you. Remember to have them on a leash at all times and be sure to read the City of Folly Beach pet rules that are posted on the refrigerator.
The unique, downtown area of Folly Beach is only 1/2 mile away to all beach shops, farmers market (select day of week), live music, and try one of our many local restaurants. Restaurants here offer everything from low country seafood to pizza to oceanfront, higher end dining. Downtown Charleston is also only a 20-25 minute drive, which offers world-class dining, historical tours, museums, boutiques, harbor walks along the water, the aquarium, and much more for added entertainment.
Park in one of the 2 driveways to fit 2-3 vehicles. Amenities include free Wi-Fi, YouTube TV, washer dryer, fully stocked kitchen with modern appliances, central heat and air conditioning, 24-hour emergency on-call staff. Home is pet-friendly with a $125 non-refundable pet fee plus tax, per pet. Up to 2 dogs are allowed. This property is non smoking and no events allowed that exceed the maximum occupancy of the home. Must be 25 years old or older to rent. We hope to see you soon at the beach!

This property is managed by a property management group. We provide a complimentary starter amenity kit to get you settled. Guests are responsible for replenishing supplies as needed during their stay.
Two rolls of paper towels, 1 sponge, 1 dishwashing liquid, 3 trash bags, 3 dishwasher tabs, and 2 kitchen towels in the kitchen. Each bathroom will have 2 toilet paper rolls and at least 1 bar of soap. Full bathrooms additionally include kits with travel size products: 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner, 1 lotion bottle, and 2 makeup wipes.

Our stay at the Treehouse was great! The location made it so easy to go back and forth from the house to the beach or to the shops and the pier without having to drive. The house was clean upon arrival and it had everything we needed.

We had a marvelous stay at The Tree House! Everything was accurate about the listing, and the proximity to the beach was perfect. The large deck and backyard was perfect for our needs. Folly Beach is such a gem and a treat for us, and The Tree House added so much to the experience.

This is an amazing location. One thing I want to point out is the fenced in area in the back. If you have a pet this works out great. Beyond that I loved being a bit removed from the main area. Its a easy 15 minute walk to the restaurants and such. So it's very quiet but still easy to not drive everywhere.

This house has obviously had a recent re-do. Everything has been updated and nicely decorated. It was very comfortable. My rating has to do with the fact that I rented mainly because it said it had a fenced yard. There is indeed a fenced area but it not adjacent to the house. One must leave the house to walk their pet over to the yard. We have small dogs with small bladders. They require frequent bathroom breaks. At 11 p.m. or 6 a.m., that is a bit of a burden. While we appreciated a pet friendly rental with a fenced yard, this was not explained in the description. I would have opted for a different property had we been appraised of this small inconvenience. When we drove up, I was so disappointed. Also, the configuration of the downstairs with all three bedrooms right together and sharing one bath is not ideal. For parents with small children, it is fine, but for two unrelated couples, that situation is a problem. Again, it would be so helpful if these conditions were disclosed in the information. Otherwise, the proximity to the beach and to town is great. The owners have done a really good job of improving the property.
