Overall, we had a nice stay over the Fourth of July weekend. The home was clean, well-kept, and exactly as pictured. The owner was also very kind and welcoming. One thing that caught us by surprise was that the owner lives on-site with a door connected to the house. This was something we overlooked because we didn't read the listing description carefully, so that's on us. That said, it did make it a little difficult to fully relax. We were hoping for a private getaway, and having the owner come by several times to knock on the front or back door to chat made us feel like we were walking on eggshells at times.Overall, the home itself was lovely, and the owner had good intentions and was very sweet. If you don't mind staying at a property where the host lives on-site and may interact with guests, this could be a great fit. We personally just prefer a little more privacy when we're on vacation.

great location, comfortable space, easy check in and out!

Beautiful, clean home. We were initially surprised that the host lived next door, but later learned this is required by Lake Tahoe vacation rental regulations. She stopped by once to share the Wi-Fi info, was very kind, and we had complete privacy for the rest of our stay.
